As a co-founder of the OOKO design agency I learned to embrace the challenges of day-to-day administration of the company including financial management and budget control, overseeing client and supplier relationships as well as procuring and undertaking an extensive variety of design briefs.

Webmaster, Diet Chef Ltd. 08/09 – 11/09.

Diet Chef is the largest diet home delivery service in the UK servicing over 20,000 customers. My role was primarily to develop a new look and feel for the Diet Chef website as well as design of complimentary marketing materials such as leaflets, brochures and advertising.

Freelance Digital Designer & Illustrator. 02/23 – present, 10/14 – 09/20 12/09 – 05/11, 04/09 – 07/09, 11/01 – 11/04, 05/97 – 09/00.

I lead clients through projects from initial conception to final design often having to liaise with and manage 3rd parties to facilitate delivery. I have developed a strong customer focus, an ability to plan, prioritise and fulfil projects in accordance with client deadlines. My role demands effective communication and management of a broad spectrum of (often remote) clients in order to understand and satisfy their objectives which are frequently wide-ranging and unpredictable in both scope and timescale. As such, I have to be able to adapt as well as keep up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques and technology. These projects include branding, print design (brochures, labels and business cards), web design and app development, e-commerce platforms, UI wireframe design and coding, 3D modelling, illustration, motion graphics and animation.

Digital Developer, Editions Financial Ltd. 05/11 – 09/14.

Editions Financial specialise in content marketing, working with the world’s leading financial services brands. As the agency’s sole digital designer, working within the larger design team, I was required to quickly assimilate and implement a broad array of both online and offline technologies to enable the agency to offer digital solutions in addition to their traditional print-based approach.

Digital Design Consultant, SICCAR 10.20 – 01/23.

SICCAR is a data-sharing platform leveraging distributed ledger technology to solve challenges around data sharing, governance, privacy and security. I led the end-to-end UI design process, collaborating with the technical team to develop POC wireframes and hero demos as well as working on the live platform. My role encompassed other design functions within the company including animation of explainer videos, creation of a new SICCAR brand along with redevelopment of the company website and ancillary marketing assets such as printed collateral. I continue to support SICCAR on a freelance basis.
